The directory covers Catholic churches in New Zealand. Each listing has an address and, where available, Mass times and parish contact details. Of the churches listed, 233 have a postcode and 289 appear on a map.
We collect Mass times from parish and diocesan websites. The source page is linked beneath each schedule so you can check the latest information before travelling.
New Zealand has 6 Catholic dioceses: the Archdiocese of Wellington and the dioceses of Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Christchurch and Dunedin. A church's listing notes when it belongs to an Eastern Catholic Church.
What is missing
Not every listing has Mass times. A blank means that we do not yet have a verified schedule for that church, not that Mass is not celebrated there. Coverage varies by diocese:

Mass times, addresses and contact details come from the six diocesan websites and from parish websites, each linked from the church it describes.

What we do not do
We do not list seasonal schedules for Christmas, Holy Week or holy days of obligation, as these change each year. Please check the parish website for them. We also avoid naming current clergy in our own descriptions because appointments change.
